GreenPower is Government-accredited renewable energy which produces no greenhouse gas emissions and is purchased by energy providers on the customer’s behalf.

Buying this renewable energy is now easier than ever thanks to a change in the way it is offered to ensure that the first offer by an electricity retailer to any new or reconnecting ACT electricity customer must be an accredited GreenPower product.

This change is an action under the ACT Government’s climate change strategy, Weathering the Change.
