Sections of Canberra Nature Park will be closed to the public for visitor safety from 9 June to 1 August 2024 during kangaroo management operations.

The following reserves will be closed from 6:00pm to 6:00am Sunday to Thursday:

• Mt Ainslie Nature Reserve
• Mt Majura Nature Reserve
• Mulanggari Grasslands
• Red Hill Nature Reserve
• Gungaderra Grasslands
• Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve
• Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve

All reserves will be clearly signposted and monitored for illegal trespassing. Reserves are closed as late as possible and opened as early as possible for minimal disruption to the community. Regular access will resume once operations conclude.
